G E Chapin, owner, opens the new bowling alleys on Center Street on November 9, 1910.
There are advertisements for the bowling alley and reference to G E Chapin, proprietor, from Nov 1910 thru xxxx 1911. Guy Chapin sells his bowling alley to Mr Tom Cook, a billiard parlor proprietor, in February 1911. Thomas Cook opens the bowling alley for the season in September 1911 but there is no mention of the lanes after October 1911. The bowling alleys were moved by Mr Cook to the Opera House Bowling Alleys next to his billiard room in January 1914. |
